The Birmingham City Council website was initially redesigned in 2002 and I was part of the team responsible for the rebranding, restructure and design of the new site.

The project involved, creating HTML/CSS pages which could be used by the Java development team as templates to be populated by content at a later stage using our bespoke content management system which would allow employees of the council to update the site directly without any technical knowledge.

I was also responsible for creating the look and feel and usability of the content management system and working alongside developers to provide the functionality for this system.
