Search engine optimization of Inter Comics to help boost sales of the site.

Inter Comics had initially been designed and built using Zen Cart, which is a great piece of software for creating a shopping cart but doesn’t offer much in respect to search engine optimisation.

The site was mainly made up of tables with very little in the way of alt attributes, heading tags, link titles and page titles as well as strategic placement of keywords throughout the content.

I restructured the code so that these elements of the page were now present as well as changing the overall structure of the site to no longer use tables.

Tables are still present within some of the modules due to time and budget constraints for the project but the overall design mainly uses CSS for layout and the client was extremely satisfied with his key objective for this project in improving his search engine results.
